Anybody have shelby side scoops on their coupes?

I think I am going to buy one of the R-Model that doesnt use the bumper valances and try some of my own changes to it before I repaint the car. That style seems to have more room for the intercooler and plumbing. Great looking car tho!

Here is a pic from the front, I was thinking of putting a lower grill in it as the one on the post earlier, but I am going to go to your style with the bumper. Did you have to make any mods to the valance to fit your car???

Well thats sharp and is exactly the color scheme I am thinking about going with.
It bolted right up except there is a brace that goes uo to your hood latch assembly that I removed. but I would guess you did too? Your car looks great, keep it up!

On that episode, Chip was discussing making the scoops lower profile before installing them, but they didn't show what mods if any he made. So the final product might not be what you can buy at the parts places. The scoops were originally intended to cool rear drum brakes in a racing application. I didn't use side scoops on mine, but bolted on a rear Baer disc setup instead to solve that problem. Then again I don't race my car either.
