Ok well Im converting from LX to GT. I have JB welded all the extra holes. But the 3rd brake light wires+bulbs stick out of the center and I have find a way to get all the back to the drivers side corner to go up through the GT wing. And another issue might be... The GT wing is only held with 4 bolts?!?! I might use some 3M double-sided if that's the case.

I had all of mine welded shut except for the 3 on each side (saleen wing on an LX hatch) and as far as the center hole, you have to take the bulbs and wires out thru the underside of the hatch, cut the wires and leave enough wire to splice. get some wire and splice it in there then run it over to the side of the wing. drill a small hole in the hatch where it has to go thru into the wing. (not the bulb size, just big enough for the 2 wires to go thru) then just route the bulbs and wires into the wing. make sense?

Yeah, I've come to the conclusion that I will have to cut and reattach aswell. But my Lx hatch only has 2 holes along the sides. It's an 88 if they differ from any others which I doubt.

And another problem that I found is that fenders are FUGGIN HARD to put on. I decided to start at the top bolt closest to the door to get all my seams balanced and you have to get 19 universal joints 5 arms 15 flashlights and brass balls to guide that bolt. I started tonight with putting the fender back on and finished tonight without getting ANYTHING accomplished. I kinda got frustrated and let the cuss-fest begin. THAT MFer, F-THIS, etc. If anyone knows an easier way other than taking the wheel off, which I might do, please tell me.

Patience dude. With the door open use 18" of 1/4" drive extensions and an 8mm socket on the end. Take some electrical tape and wrap from the bolt washer to the socket (taping the bolt to the socket) and then leave enough to pull the tape off once the bolt starts. Adjust and lock down.

Yeah I see I gotta drill another hole for the GT wing. Got the fender on and straight last night. Started again, took the tire off and the bracket off the fender and THEN attached it and reattached that bold instead of the other. I hate tiny, far away, 8mm bolts. Anyway it's on and wetsanded beautifully. Thanks guys.
