Anybody have this part or know where i can get it?

I have an 88 GT with the 85mph speedo. I just got the white face guages from Mac. What do i have to do to convert it over to a 140 speedo? Somebody once told me all i need is a speedo mechanism, i have know idea what that is. Does anybody have this part or know where i can get one? Also how much is this part? Thanks guys!

you need to go to the junk yard and find a 140 speedo or find somebody selling one that is the only way to make your car have a 140 speedo and you need to make sure it is out of a 87-89 non air bag car

They can be found in any police package mustang fox. They used to be able to be ordered from ford racing parts.

I have one that came in my car, but I am holding on to it (I dont use it).

brothers performance will convert your speedometer to 140 or more for like 30 bucks

you just gotta send it to them

u cant just pop in a 140 mph cluster....it will read that u are doing liek 55 when u are doing 20 or will read 115 when your doing 65...my friends car was liek this when he bought it...i believe u need it recalibrated or a new mechanism thing liek u said
