ok i went to put my new cams in and the old cam gears are pressed on or something. they dont come off. everybody i have talked to said all the ones they have ever seen have the cam gears bolted on. i guess i need to get cam gears and bolts?

The 99-00 GT's (your car included) received the 4.6 Windsor truck engines which have pressed on cam gears. The 01+ GT's got the 4.6 Romeo car engines with bolt-on cam gears.

yea i was pretty surprised.
did you have you cams degreed or just time it. did you have any piston to valve clearance issues.
