anybody know about car stereos?

hello everyone, i just bought a 90 mustang GT it has a tv type radio, radio plays ok but the screen has the logo on it, and says no video signal, and is in camera mode. when i push the mode button it does nothing. i tried reset button and it works till i turn ignition off, then back to the same thing. i cant see what station i am on,i get sound but have no idea what radio station i'm on to find a station i like. it does not have a backup camera, it's a DUAL (that's the company's name) xdvd710. I just want to get it out of camera mode so the screen says what station i'm on. is something hooked up wrong or is the problem in the head unit. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance guys.

Is there a source button? Usually that is what they use to switch between different methods of playback. Also is it a fold out or a fixed screen?

make sure all the wires are hooked up correctly and on those dvd plyers i had one in my car and to watch a movie i had to bypass the emergency brake to have it playing while ging down the road to pulse to the hea unit giving it a signal thinking the emergency brake was on that might have something to do with it but i have no idea why it would be id try making sure all the wires are hooked correctly just a thought

it is a fold out screen, no source button but there is a "mode" button but when i press it a circle with a line across shows up. i downloaded the wiring diagram and will make sure everything is hooked up properly and if it still doesn't work the i'll pull it out, and look for a factory radio

Try having the screen closed and hit the mode button while it is closed to see if it changes then

well i took it out and traded for another more simple radio
