anybody running 335s?

I just bought some 18x9/18x10 bulletts and im stuck on what tires to get. I either want 335 Nittos or 315 Falkens. Does anyone know from experience if 335s will fit without any rubbing or modifications? I'm assuming theyre pretty much the same size because Nittos run small.

(p.s. theres a guy on SVTPerformance with a 95 cobra running 315s with no problem so I know that i can go at least 315s)

Any advice and/or pics would be great!

Also, I have heard the sn-95s wheel wells aren't as deep as the New Edge cars. I believe some people on here have ' gently ' hammered in the right spots and they no longer rub. Flipping the quads also helps but if you don't have U/LCAs I would get some and ditch the quads....good luck

Nittos are wider than other tires, in my experience. I have (2) 245/40/18s NT555's on a 18x9 wheel on my 68 and it fits much, much wider as compared to the other 2 tires (245/40/18 Nankangs).

Any reason you want to go wider than a 315? That's a ton of tire... and wouldn't seem practical to me to go any wider than that.

Nitto's run narrow, not wide.. I will switch from 315's to 335's next go around, but have to remove the quads and either go dumps or side exhaust like I have...Right now i'm running 315/30/18 falken azenis rt615's with ABSOLUTELY NO MODIFICATIONS AND ZERO RUBBING WHATSOEVER...

You might be talking about me actually, I'm BLOWN_BY_You over there.....
The falkens hook pretty damn well through the corners.. They are NOT by any means a rain tire though.... I will gurantee you the 335 nittos fit if you remove the quads and roll the lips.. There is a guy with an sn95 running michelin pilot sport 335's on svtp which are FAR wider than nittos, but he had to run dumps.. I have side exhaust now, so 335 pilots are my next step...

Ya i was talking about you. Your the reason I started thinking about running 335s. The thing is, ive seen ppl running 315 nittos on stock 9 inch 04 cobra wheels.... so why wouldnt 335s nittos fit on a 10in? Seems like they should.

Do you know whats involved in rolling the lips? Is it difficult/expensive? I will most likely be ordering some 335s soon.

I used a cutoff wheel and cut the lip into about 1 inch sections and beat i up with a hammer.. you can see where it's rolled from the pics above... Most autox chapters have access to one of the professional tools...
