Mickey thompson told me next year they would come out with this size drag radial and I think it would fit a little better than my 275s do right now. The only differance the 255s are 1.22 inches taller but are 0.79 inches narrower. I was wondering if these would fit or if they would be to tall in the wheel well? I really wish somebody would make a 255/55/15 Drag radial .

I think you would be ok with that size since you have already rolled your fenders..just make sure they are completely flat to avoid any issues with the slightly taller nature and you should be fine.

their a little tall,a little over 27",but my buddy runs a 28X11.50X15 on his 65 FB and they barely rub when they grow at the top of the track,so you should be ok

I used to have them until a few months ago.
Fit fine, with some assistance to the inner wheel lip.

If it helps...

I have 265/50/15 tires on the rear of my 66, no rubbing problems as of yet.

For what it's worth, my 70 convertible had 15 x 8s with 4.25 BS and 255/60 radial T/As. The tires would rub on the outer fender lip on occasion.

I needed 4.5 BS to avoid any rubbing with this size. Of course, the first gen mustangs have less space, so you'll probably need at least 4.75 BS if not more unless you're going to roll the lips.
