haha that is straight up hilarious. i get those looks too but mostly from dudes with a chevy truck and a 4 inch exhaust tips on a camo painted truck lmao. that's hilarious, though, probably just either jealous bc he had a similar one before and sold it, or a tree hugger who hates the gases that your 414 c.i. motor obviously puts out

with all that said, 414 c.i.=one bad mama jamma

haha even though my car does not exactly hold a candle to yours, i know what you're talking about. even when cruising through town under 2k (which i hate doing but do anyway so reduce the stare count) somebody always has to look at your car like it has a tommy gun mounted on the roof.. Maybe next time i will start at the road from out of town, get it to about 130 and then stick it in neutral and shut the key off? that way i can cruise through town whisper quiet...

The BEST way to make someone angrier is to laugh when they give you threatening looks, it's always fun. I also make sure they see me laughing at them when they honk or throw their hands up offended that I cut them off or whatever.

i get the stare down sometimes but not too often, more so perceived stare downs for when you step on it going past someone and you just know they are glaring. my fiance actually loves the car and loves going fast.

I used to get that from driving through the ex-gfs college parking lot and revving, which would set off all the car alarms and the students would have to run out of dorms to shut them off.

I also get that at the gym when I start using chalk on the bar, and when dead lifting, because I don't care if you are the Hulk, you are not gently placing a loaded bar back on the ground after a long / tough set. The trainers eye me up all the time because I interrupted their appointment with a fat house wife who is standing on 1 leg doing bicep curls with 5 pounders and wondering why they are still fat.

lmao i know EXACTLY what you mean about the deadlifting thing. with any lift really it isnt possible to set it down softly after you've had a tough set.

and as far as the car....wish the girlfriend liked it but her opinion will never keep me from drivin a stang

By all means I don't have anything to make mine sound ferocious or anything, but I do love those times your cruising through a neighborhood in a low gear and the car is just growling. Everyone stares and people yell at you to slow down cause it sounds like your going way faster. Love it.

I have found they have a hard time staring at you when they have a 5500rpm rev through stingers and side pipes directed right into their face. That's how I deal with it

Lots of jealousy out there. When it isn't jealousy, it's usually a self absorbed hippie hybrid owner...and really, who cares what those homos think.

I just stare back with a blank look on my face...sometimes tilt my head like dog when you talk to them. It tends to creep most people out or get the point across of WTF without raising your voice.

I call it my shock and awe face at work when someone does something retarded.

It is funny but at the same time a blank dead stare back is effective and can be intimidating. You have to look them dead straight in the eyes.
