Anyone else notice that your 75mm Pro M is only 75mm on the inlet side?

It narrows down to under 3" on the outlet side. whats up with that? Can someone measure they outlet on a Pro M 78mm and a Pro M 80mm and post what it is? I want something tht is at least 75mm on the outlet side.

Yeah I got one...it flows plenty though...and is probably smaller on the rear side to help velocity. I'm sure their is some reason for it in reference to air sampling to to help center it over the meter?

i agree with David - it is probably for a venturi effect for the sampling tube or something like that.

No, not really. There are approx 25mm in 1 inch. So 3 inches is 75mm.

My physics class taught me that 1 inch is 25.4mm. 75mm is juuuuuussssst a hair under 3 inches (2.952755906 inches to be exact). When you say that it narrows down to under 3 inches, is it something tiny like 1/32 or 1/16 inch smaller? Measure it with the metric side of the ruler and let us know. How many mm is it on the inlet side?

Peace

Just judging by memory I'm going to guess the smaller side is the 75mm measurement.

Hawaii-50 - Physics class taught you that? I learned that in 3rd grade Good 'ole public school...

Smaller side is definitely not 75mm. I am pretty confident of that.
