anyone else's tint scratched?--removing door panels...

My tint is being scraped by somthing in the window mechanism, but I don't know exactly what's doing it. The driver's side has scrape marks along the whole length of the window (most prominently in three places) and the passenger side has it in just one place (about 8 in. from the front edge of the window). I've heard that the felt rollers that help guide the window on it's track can wear out and cause some of these scratches. What else could do this? I'm thinking about taking the door panels off to investigate. Does anyone know how to do do this? It's time for a re-tint and I don't want these scratches to come back... Thanks!

Sometimes, it can be as simple as dust/sand stuck between the glass and the trim. If these are important scratches, I would investigate further though. Removing the door panel is easy. There are 2 screws behind the door cup bezel and 1 push pin close to the speaker. You will also have to remove the door handle bezel to facilitate the job. After, you simply pull up on the door panel and take it off.
