anyone ever put a v6 into a fox?

hey i blew the a4ld trans in my 2.3 fourbanger. i was sittin here thinking, since it will be at least 1500 for a reliable fix... what about a v6 swap? (i commute at least 50 miles a day with school and work so v8 is a big NO) i've found a v6 stang or two with destroyed body but good drivetrain selling for close to the price of my transmission fix. any ideas or input much appreciated

some foxbodies in the mid 80's had tbi 3.8's in them I know so you should be able to get the tranny mount and engine mounts from one of them and everything else should just be a matter of wiring.
