anyone who would actually race for slips has to KNOW that they have the faster car. i would NEVER do anything that stupid. racing for cash however is a different story. its funny how you can convince some people that the whining noise under your hood is a bad power steering pump on a car that has less than 25k on it

dude, dont be hatin' on the F&F. tokyo drift is REAL. it was filmed in Japan so you know its JDM. plus all the cars are super fast race cars. plus lil bow wow snoopy is in the movie b/c he is a race car driver. its gonna be the best movie of the year. i already fandango'ed my tickets

im guessing you missed the sarcasm in my last three posts....i know it was filmed in the US, and i know the cars they used werent fast, and i know that lil bow wow snoopy is not a race car driver, and no, im not excited to go see the movie.

They run 10 second quarter miles, pull 1.0+ Gs, go through the slalom 70 mph+, all while getting 34 mpg.

I've seen insane amounts of money being bet on a single race numerous times (King of Street and such in Houston) though the days of racing for "pink slips" has been over for years. No one does that crap anymore

Some of the "street racers" in Houston have no problem putting thousands of dollars per race
