I'm pretty anal about my cars. Especially my Cobra. As time passes I have to lighten up or I stress out over every stinking rock chip and scratch. I wish I had the paint protection applied when the car was new. If I repaint the car, I will protect the paint with the 3M or the ARMOURFEND. Didn’t know about that stuff until ExCon posted it.

My neighbors think I'm nuts when they see me drying the Cobra with an electric leaf blower.

Duner, the stuffs been around for less than ten years and I never heard of it till about 5 years ago. I found out about it on the Porsche board. Like you said its prety worthless after you have 10,000 miles on the car cause its usually allchipped up. I get my cars done within the first 500 miles. When you get our new car PM me and I will giv you some tips on getting the job done right. BTW: Your an awful nice guy considering you own a Cobra!! All kidding aside you really gotta be crazy to drop 25-35K on a car and not have this done before you do anything else. Why the hell people hem and haw about paying 500-700 for a first rate paint protection job after spending all that money on a car is beyond me. I always want alot of things for any new car but paint protection is ALWAYS the first investment I put in any nice car! No it can't dmage your paint, no it does not peel, no it does not yellow. Armourfend is LIFETIME GUARANTEED!!

Next time I will have that stuff applied at the 500 mile mark. These carmakers suck when it comes to paint. The freaking primer is white. So every little chip is very noticeable. I got a chubby when I saw this black Cobra sitting on the lot. I keep telling myself no more black cars. Hell I don't even listen to myself. I have two black cars now.

Since the car has 20k worth of rock chips on it, I have to avert attention from the paint by lots of blower whine and exhaust noise. If I drive fast enough people can’t see the chips.

Hehe, you’re not to bad for a Yankee from New Jersey. Quit busting my balls about the Cobra or I’ll give you half-a-smack.

Ehh. I'm not so sure I want to see porno on a 70 inch screen. There are just things on the human body. That I don't want to see 4 feet wide in size.

I'm way obsessive about keeping my car perfect. But, I enjoy driving her just as much as I enjoy meticulously cleaning her. I suppose I could stand to chill out a little on the cleanliness thing, tho'. I was completely bummed this morning when I pulled her (gleaming) out of the garage into the drizzel and rain (no longer gleaming) whimper....but that's a Virgo for ya.

Obsessive Compulsive Behavior Disorder better know as anal retentive. I suffer from the same thing. I have to keep my cars, and truck in tip top condition including under the hood. I went as far as painting my garage floor with epoxy paint so I’ll be able to notice any leaks.

Anal Me nnaaaa

I just make my kids take their shoes off before they can get into the car.
It gets washed everytime it leaves the garage (only nice days.) And once a week I clean the interior and wash it again. The car will probably rust from washing it so much .

It is alot of work keeping it nice but it's worth every minute of time spent.

I have 650 miles on my GT and am seriously considering ArmourGlove. I have not used Zaino or any other type of wax or sealer yet on my car. I'm guessing I should claybar the car before ArmourGlove is applied, but what about Zaino? Will it prevent the film from "sticking"?

Daily driver on a busy Airbase... I worry about kids playing near it, but I use my panic alarm to scare them!
