My wife just called and said the Dealership called and my car is in!!!
The trouble is I am out of town, I am only a 1.5 hour drive but I have to work and can't get in to sign for the cash at the bank or get to the dealer till after they are closed. I am a little upset because the dealer said the car was in late friday but could not get it in for detailing...ohh well I guess I will be driving it this Thursday and I will bring my digital camera and have a few pics by friday... I do think I was bumped up a week, because of my daughter. She had to write a bunch of letters to places stating concerns in service, quality etc. So she wrote to Ford.ca stating that she felt that I had been waiting too long for my car and that I was driving everyone at home "Crazy"... well someone at the local Ford co. office called her and left a message for her to call and when she did they told her they would see if the could speed things up a bit. I guess it worked and I guess she may get an "A" because I will be calling her teacher and spreading the good news. Well anyways I am excited and can't wait till I get home.
Dealer says its either on the ground or on the truck headed this way. Expect delivery next week. Ordered first week of February. I am ready to strut.
Have a BMW and a Audi vert on the street, will expect to lay down the top
and smoke right by them this time next week!
Got a build date for the week of 05-16. Checked on 05-22 and the automated Ford babe said it was shipped on 5-18. Talked to the dealer today and he just got the invoice so I'm thinking next week. Can't wait, the JLT cai and diablo are sitting in the garage and the flowmasters are on backorder. Ordered 3-28 with a priority 10 x-plan.
