:)First Allow Me To Say HI!
I am Brand new and this is Post #1 for me. I found your site by doing a Yahoo search for P2004 and P2005 DTC Error Codes... and Here I Are!

Anyhow,
My Trouble is that I have on 2006 GT and I Can't Get her Inspected! It is my only reliable car and I am tired of "Ridin' Dirty"!

After much research, I figured out what the issue is. Ford put some Crappy Intake Runner Flaps with an Even Crappier Actuator on the car! I found TSB 060710 and learned all about it! Basically I went to the parking lot here at work, just to see what I was getting myself into, and cycled the flaps a few times. I heard something click. ~I think a flap came unstuck~ and Lo and Behold, after work, the CEL(Check Engine Light) Turned Off! I was Like "Sweeet!" :nice: Gotta Go get My Sticker Now! Well, turns out that's not possible after 6PM on a Saturday, and all stations are closed on Sundays. Guess what happened after Church Sunday~ Light's Back On! Aaaaagh! :fuss: (chose words carefully as I Did Just Leave Church! :) )

I Really didn't want to tear the intake off my Baby. Like I said, I screw this up, and I have Nothing Left! But, unfortunately, bottom line is, I have to.

So that being my story, and the current situation, I have 2 Questions for all of you Fine Ladies and Gentlemen!:

1. I read about IMRC Deletes and know that is a quick and cool way to pick up Power (Car Runs Awesome with the Plates Stuck Open! Just the Darn CEL!). I Commend all brave enough to do that. This being my daily driver and bread truck, I can't risk 2 many mods!

I ask Humbly, does anyone have a functioning Used IMRC Actuator they can part with for cheap? I will pay all shipping and a fair price of course, but don't want to pay full price for something I would rather get rid of anyway!
2. Now that I am going to take off my fuel rail setup, and intake manifold, are there any suggestions for other Sensors I should change out, and any other CEL Safe Mods I can make while I have it apart? ie. bigger Fuel injectors, bigger TB, MAF, or a way to make IMRC Deletes work without buying a programmer?
Any suggestions that are SURE to allow me to button it up, and drive straight to the Inspection booth would be GREATLY Appreciated!

At bare Minimum, Please someone help with an IMRC Actuator!

Thanks! And Sorry so long! Don't worry I won't make Novels like this a Habit!

And also, Nice to meet you all!

Do you just need the actuator or the entire assembly (including the plates)? Probably easier to just replace everything since the failure may be due to gunk in the plates.

Wow Klaw, Dan!~

Those are Awesome deals! I have to contact them to see what they have available, how much/long to ship, and what else I would need to buy to complete the install as I can't have her down for more than a day!

Thanks for the leads guys!:nice:

As far as Question #2... Any ideas?

KarKraft Gone??

Hey guys!

First off , Dan Man that Link is INCREDIBLE! much less nervous about the process now, I just need the part!

Which brings up my next issue... I cant find KarKraft!

Tried the phone number on the website, it's the only one on it, and it has been disconected and, according to the computer lady, "there is no further information".

So I e-mailed him 2 days ago at the "sn95guy" address on the site :stick:, to ask if he still had 1, and to make sure it came with the actuator... No Reply

It's like he threw some dust :ninja:

Any other sources you guys are aware of?... $50 just felt so good, I would much rather pay that than $150 like Takeoff's. That is just to close to the price of Deletes! (Only I'd still need it Flashed) Or... if I were to just go with Deletes, how much does it run to get a reprogram from a mustang or other speed shop?? I've never been to one... And will that allow the check engine light to go out, and my baby to pass inspection?

Really, I think the easiest solution is to remove your intake and just clean you plates. I should have suggested this to begin with, but I wasn't sure about you comfort with doing this.

I don't know of anyone who has done this specifically, or really anyone who has had the need. But basically just disassemble the intake as shown in that link and then clean the plates with some throttle body cleaner (local parts store about $10) and a tooth brush (local drug store, about $2). Reassemble and cross your fingers. If it doesn't work you're not out much since you planned on replacing them anyway.
Dan

P.S. Try you local dealer for just the plates, they may have them for less than $100.
