Anyone have blown stock speakers with Aftermarket CD player like me

Here is a deal, when I bought my Stang it came with stock speakers and some older Panasonic CD player , after a few months my rear speaker (tweeters) going bad, so I have to pull two from front to therear, than I blew rear speakers (big ones) I have to replace them with aftermarket ones but they last about 3 weeks,
Right now I order new whole speakers and two tweeters for front
So I was thinkin meybe because I have aftermarket SONY XPLOD CDX-M800 CD player who is stronger than stock one and I still have stock little 3 amps and thats why make so much watt's so they blow out ,
Anyone have this problem

oh also what speaker system did your car come with stock? regular speakers or the mach 460? if the mach then i think you need to buy a wiring kit that bypasses the factory amps and lets you run just the cd players built in amp

I'm curious too about which speakers you have.

I've got the Mach 460 setup with an Alpine HU, but haven't had any problems with volume or speakers going bad. I still have all the Mach amps plugged up and it works great so far. No complaints. In fact, the bass is heavier now and the sound is a lot clearer.

I have stock speakers with a Xplod HU no problems except the driver side rear speaker wire came off so i fixed that and now its off again so i have to fix it again.

Of course that wasn't enough so i have a amp hooked up to a 2 sub speaker box in the trunk sounds damn good now

I have a pioneer deck lid w/ some stock blown speakers. Word of advise, check out the speakers you want and then copy the model # and seach for them on Ebay, its alot cheaper.

Dude, the Mach 460's a 6 ohm system. Your aftermarket stuff's most likely 4. That's why you keep blowing crap. eventually it'll be your amps or the deck. Just bypass everything and run a complete new aftermarket system...Will sound leagues better. They also make some aftermarket 6 ohm replacements you might want to give a shot.

I've also had some good luck with attaching my pre-outs to the stock amps, then adding a sub and amp in the back.

You have two options...replace your speakers back to the stock ones, or rewire your system.

Basically, you're going to want to rewire the whole thing, unless you want to use the existing stock wires. Pretty much all the HeadUnits come with wiring diagrams if you want to know how it looks. To save time, you could use the existing stock wires, but then you'd need to get mustang wiring diagrams to know what color of wires to splice into. So, either rewire, or stick stock speakers back in, in my opinion.

BTW I have SONY XPLOD CDX-M800 CD player
two 10" and one big amp in trunk for them too,but this works fine

I have stock Mach 460 system with a Sony XPLOD. (the one for about $179 at CC). I had CC wire a harness to the stock wires for about $30, and it plugged right in. It is louder and sharper than the stock (plus MP3 capabilities) and there is no problem..I just dont go past 20 on the Volume for radio, and not past 15 for CD's.

I just got two rear mid;s and all 4 tweeters from 98 Cobra convertible and i have then installed, oh boy they works avesome
