Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any pics of classic mustangs, particularly 60's, with a custom 4 link. By custom I mean a weld in kit, not a bolt in such as the Heidts, or TCP, etc. ANything will do right now, I am just trying to get ideas for rear frame rails, 4 links, and tire sizes. Thanks in advance!

I haven't got it yet but I will be using a competition engineering magnum 4 link, sway bar and a panhard bar as well as qa1 chrome moly rod ends and universal coil over kit. autoweldchassis.com has some good frame rails bent on one axis instead of 2. Here is a pic of my frame rails installed.

If you do a 4 link and dont change the rear frame rails, whats the biggest size tires you can fit out back?

I am going for 315s in the back. I know they will fit with the frame rails, I may have to build new minitubs to get a little more room, either that or put flares on. I could probably go bigger if I wanted with full tubs but I want to keep my back seat even though the 2 inches of padding wont be very comfortable. I added almost three inches to the wheel housings but im not sure if I will use them. I doubt that a four link will a. fit without modification to the frame rails, and b. add any tire clearance. some people switch the frame rails from the left to right and vise versa, that might help if you dont want to change the rails

I think I have posted these already, but thought it might be what you are asking for. It is the Martz Chassis 4link kit. I had these already uploaded so thought they could be of some use. I have made a little progress since these pictures were taken.

martz here, still working on a few things like my cage but the 4 link is done.

I added some reinforcement to the brackets on my rear because i was afraid they would flex. heres some pics to show what im talking about. also that is herculiner brushed on. i have a sprayer for the final coat, everything is getting herculined, inside and out. im just not sure on the engine bay but it probly will too.
