Car is going in for paint in a few weeks and trying to figure a few things out. Does anybody have a picture of an LX spoiler on a GT? Not crazy about the GT spoiler, like a simpler look. Definately have to have something there, no spoiler just looks like crap on a hatchback car.

GT spoiler on a GT, and a LX spoiler for a LX. When you swap them around, it looks like **** in my opinion.

Not a fan of the lx spoiler. I believe it will look even more off on a gt.

From the looks of the car, it's built for road racing....that wing is probably highly functional (albeit ugly as sin). When it comes down to it which do you want, good looks and poor performance or good performance with not so great looks?

Also i'll add that i read a wind tunnel test performed by Steeda that said that out of the stock spoilers, the LX wing makes more downforce than the GT wing, and only their own dove tail wing makes more downforce.

the LX spoiler doesnt look half bad. If there was a pic without that huge wing attached we would be able to tell better.

Thanks for the pics. I knew a lot of people would have negative opinions on this, but I just like a low key look. Its a black GT and I think with the LX spoiler and LX tail lights it would look nice and clean.

I actually like the LX wing better than the GT from a side view but not as much from the back. The Cobra wing is a good blend between the two.

The cobra wing looks the best. I have an LX on mine now but only because I had to get a new hatch a few years back, because the old one rusted out under the gt wing.

I was going to go with the Cobra wing and rear bumper, but just dont want to sink that much into this car. Not to mention I would have to get new tailpipes to exit the bumper. My passion is my Buicks, I just like driving a nice sounding 5.0 and banging gears once in a while. Want to do this car on a budget.

If you think thats bad my notch had a LX wing on it when I got it. It was the first thing to come off. And on top of that who ever done it drill holes in the deck lid for all the studs.
