I see a couple guys have made models to replicate their actual cars. I think That 93 Cobra I have is going to turn into an 91 LX. I need to get some pony's, and find/build an LX wing.

LOL, you wanna see a model made to replicate the real thing?? This is a model that i'm buying from a local guy. Aside from some small details like the side pipes, it's my coupe made over.

Too bad it's a snap-tite.

No the hood doesn't open, i don't even think it has an engine but i could be wrong.

We've tried the model build off several times...it seems that only a few people really stick to it and meet the deadlines.

It depends on how detailed you get. I would say 3-4 weeks .

I have never participated in a model car build, but I could deal with whatever amount of time. I don't mind a deadline

I haven't either. That one you see its my first one ever.

I did a 93 Cobra and it took me a year to find the correct color. I wanted to get as close to that Reef Blue as I could because I figured most would do the black and red. I'll post pics when i get my computer situation all figured out.

We have tried this a few times and hasn't worked, I myself build "scale Replicas" but have not been able to complete a deadline in the last 2 build off threads.

What If we could just get a sticky to post our work in, no deadlines, just a place to appreciate others work?
I have about 5 models close to done, but have been messing with Nitro RC stuff lately...and the 5.0, duh.

I may just have to finish mine and leave the windshield out and deal with that later on down the road.
