If the cobra is made by Revell/Monogram, they will replace it for free. I was looking on their site last night and came across this (link below). It looks like they will replace "missing" parts for free as long as you have the box numbers. That way your Cobra will be complete for free

Thanks! Now I can finish my Cobra too.

We have tried this a few times and hasn't worked, I myself build "scale Replicas" but have not been able to complete a deadline in the last 2 build off threads.

What If we could just get a sticky to post our work in, no deadlines, just a place to appreciate others work?
I have about 5 models close to done, but have been messing with Nitro RC stuff lately...and the 5.0, duh.

I think that sounds great. They can post their before and during then afetr with no deadlines. Thats kool.

Sweeet, i thought there was something like that but wasn't sure. I guess it's time to dig out my gear. I'm bad about procrastinating and getting sidetracked so bear with me.

I tend to do the same thing, thats why I usually have a few in progress. I get tired of one and move on to the next then got back to the other. Now...if i could just finish them and post the photos in a sticky.

I put this one together over the past 2 weeknights watching t.v. Now I'm going to do a fox body kit. I just ordered resin LX front and rear bumpers, and I have a 93 Cobra kit. I am going to try to make a scale replica of my red LX hatchback

That's next on my list after the Cobra is done...i've got an old '50s Ford truck that i'm gonna do in flat black/ratrod style.

I was part of the original model build off stuff... I can tell you I love doing them but between work, girlfriend, car, boat, etc... I don't have time for this stuff right now. Im sure in a few years I will, but different times in life you have to prioritize.

I do however LOVE seeing other peoples work.

Well i was gonna sandbag on mine and keep it hush hush until it's done but i figure it may never be done, so i put it together with some sticky tack to hold things in place, it still needs lights and window molding finished and the glass of course, and the ride height will be "just right" when it's really sitting on its own. There's just a ton of detail work yet to be done but here it is so far.

And it IS a PITA to take pics of models. The flash picks up all the metal flake and makes the paint look rough as sand paper when it's actually smooth like glass. That's Tamiya Gunmetal Grey by the way.
