My buddy just bought a powder coating kit and a garage sale toaster oven and we're experimenting with some small scale powder coating. It's ridiculous how easy this process is, but there's definitely a learning process and it does take practice to get a perfectly smooth finish. So far we've done a couple little small brackets like the coil bracket, also a shift arm that he made for my coupe. They've turned out really nice except for a little orange peal but we should be able to get past that with some practice. In time we're gonna get a full size oven and take a shot at doing some wheels
Anyone else ever try this?
