I know that flat hoods seem to be the rage right now. So in an effort to do something a little out of the norm, I have been thinking of sticking a blower through the hood. I would like to go with fuel injection as well. Are there any company's that sell a kit like this? I know the blowers themselvs aren't hard to come by, but the intakes seem to be scarce, especially the ones set up for fuel injection. Thanks in advance for any help!

blower drive service will have the intake you need. as for setting it up with fuel injection, most people run the fuel through the top of the blower rather than under it. if you pop an injector, very possible with efi, then you lose boost pressure, and likely the blower as well. in fact with efi you can use the bug catcher as a real throttle like on the top fuel and funny cars if you choose, though it is much harder that way.

Wasnt there a member with the screenname of BLOWN65 or something like that? He had a fuel injected blown car. You might want to try looking him up on here.

Blowers look cool....but dont get something like an 871 that is higher than your darn roof!

Hilborn has a fuel injection kit for blowers with the injectors on top of the blower, but it is quite very expensive. I'm hoping for a more cost effective solution.

BDS (blower drive service) will be your one stop shop. They can get you everything you need including their efi, system which looks just like an Enderly. (top fuel scoop with the 3 round butterflys)

Their blowers are also new manufactured items with the proper twist and tolerance for a street/hot rod application... not some p.o.s. scavenged from a 40 year old diesel truck.

I went with Hampton Blowers, great service and he also sells everything you need. I didn't go with fuel injected, I have two 660's on mine. I was thinking of fuel injection but I went with a methanol injection kit. can't wait for the numbers.

We built it to handle 700-800 hp but the car is heavy. It should run in the 9's no that I can get it to hook.
