Anyone have the MM steering shaft and longtubes?

So i take the stang out for a ride today, finally, only to find out that my steering isn't working right. The pump sqeals, alot, which i think is prolly a lack of fluid. However, the steering sometimes snags and i tracked it down to the bolts on the steering shaft hitting the headers. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on what i could do?

Yea i thought that might be the answer. I was hoping there was something i could do without having to replace those.
