Anyone here running Toyo Proxes T1-R?

Hey guys, I've been deciding on the next set of tires for my 01GT. Currently I've got BFG KDW's on it and they're about worn out. I was curious to see if anyone here was running the Toyo T1-R. I really wanted the T1-S, but Toyo says that is discontinued. So, if anyone is running the T1-R, is it a good tire? Noisy Tire? Decent mileage? By decent I mean 25k or more. We're pushing it right now to get 25k out of the G-force tires and I've done one maybe two burnouts with them. I'm down between those and the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, and I can't compare them on Tire Rack because Tire Rack doesn't sell Toyo's. Any feedback you guys can give me would be much appreciated.

Dont know about the t1-r's, but Ive thought about running their RA-1's on the rear wheels of my car. Ive read that they are sticky, but u can drive in the rain as well. Its a toss up between the ra-1's and nitto dr's for my car as I have about 1k miles left on my rear tires.

Will, do you have 285's on your stock wheels? I know this is a dumb question, but my wife drives the car more than I do...but how is the road noise on them? The G-force tires hold pretty good, but they're pretty noisy. I'm trying to find a tire that holds just as good or better but you can still hear the radio over.

I run the 285's on 10 1/2 inch wide rims, so I'm probably not much help at all.

As far as noise with my setup, I don't notice the tires being all that loud. I'd go as fair to say that I notice no difference from stock on noise. Though the exhaust leaves little room for other things.. heh

They are sticky, a great tire I think. Nice tread pattern to, and solid in the rain.

I have them and they rock. They were the most quiet tires I ever had and the most comfortable in terms of ride quality. Far more quiet than my Kumho's, Goodyears, Goodrich, and Firestones. I also ran them at 170mph on the road and 200mph on the dyno and there wasn't an iota of vibration. I also went around corners at 150-160 miles per hour and they stuck like glue. I don't know about mileage yet but these are the best tires I have ever had.
