Anyone Install X-Pipe on 2005 GT w/automatic???

Has anyone installed a Bassani X-Pipe with axleback performance mufflers on a 2005 GT with automatic tranny???

Any gains??? Any more sound???

Your opinions would be greatly appreciated...

I installed a basani catted x-pipe on my 05gt and I am pretty impressed. I had the slp kit on at the time and it was way to loud after I put the x-pipe on and it sounded like an overgrown ricer! I put the factory mufflers back on for now and it sounds much better. I dont have any dynos numbers but it feels like it pulls a little better and I do have traction problems now that I didnt have before I started modding so it must have done a little bit.

If you install an x pipe with comp cats on an automatic you will need o2 sensor wire extenders. FYI

Dear Shortbus,

I was thinking of just getting the Bassani X-Pipe and hooking them to the stock cats... We have heavy emission laws in Illinois...

I have MAC axleback mufflers now and I like the sound...

I will eventually have a Saleen Supercharger installed in the car so little by little, I am preparing for this addition...
