I dont know anything about them but the combustion chambers are big. Do you run without a power adder?

Those heads are from 1978. Not sure what they came off of, but you could probably find something better for that price.

Check www.powerheads.com "With gains of 38HP and 39 ft lbs at the rear wheels, PowerHeads were an impressive bolt on, to say the least. The combination of small ports to maintain maximum velocity, excellent flow numbers (for the runner size) and an affordable price, make the PowerHeads hard to beat." -- Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords. July 1999 issue.
Specifications:

Precision C.N.C. Porting Programs
1.90 X 1.60 Forged Stainless Steel Valves
Chrome Moly Retainers - Heavy Duty Locks
.530 Lift High Performance Spring Package
Pedestal Mount - stock rockers and pushrods

I looked at the review's on this site to see if they were listed and there are 2 both of them gave them a 10. one guy claims he "Went from a 14.7 in the quarter to a 14.4 with just a head change. (A few other minor mods). Dropped to a 14.1 with a power plus intake. Zero effect on driveability. Work is quality and focuses mostly on what needs improving being the exhaust. Can't beat the price."
sound pretty good to me

haha I would be pissed if i went from a 14.7 to a 14.4 with a head swap. what a waste

and all heads will IMPROVE driveability unless you get one that is too big for your shortblock. like AFR 205s on a 302

small valves with big chambers = not good n/a

D80E castings came on trucks and lincolns along with the D8TE casting heads, both are very nice boat anchors unless you open up the intake track, grind the ridges in exhaust track, and toss a blower on the car.
