i just took the lower intake off of my car and when i dissconnected the coolant elbow i looked at the back(Side with the spring) of my thermostat and i saw that it had numbers on it. it said 160, does this mean that i have a 160 degree thermostat and should i change over to a 180 thermostat? i have heard that 160 is too low but if i keep it on there what kind of problems will i run into?

it will just run richer, harder on your cooling system with a 160, 180 is the way to go... especially that spring isnt TOO far away... I have a stock 194 in my car right now becuase i want heat, but its getting swapped this week to a 180...
