not ready to rebuild my engine just yet, but when I am, I want to make sure that I'm 100% ready. So, does anyone know of any good engine rebuild literature? I'm into seeing pictures as I'm a visual learner, so if anybody knows anything like that, I would appreciate it. A friend recommended "How to Rebuild Small-Block Ford Engines" by Tom Monroe. Anyone got any other suggestions?

I know I can find stuff online, but I like to read while sitting on the john lol, and a laptop isn't too comfortable there.

Engine Masters magazine has some excellent info, but you're not going to find it all in one issue, you'll have to collect several. I'd let you borrow mine if you lived closer, haha.

The book you mentioned is a good one. You should get on Amazon and search "ford rebuild" and read the reviews. There are a few good ones out there.

I purchased HP Books " how to rebuild the sbf " and it was less than useless. Most of the photos were parts on a counter or in an open box. No sequences to speak of and the instructions it did have were worse than the ones in a Haynes manual.
