Where can I get a replacement for the boot that is attached to the factory shifter at the top of the T5 transmission? I tried Mustangs Unlimited and CJ's Pony Parts with no luck.

Tex, he might want the noise/isolator boot (lower boot). It attaches right over the metal shifter itself and is articulated rubber.

I think I might have a stock shifter lingering around my garage somewhere though

Well, now I am confused - the part you linked to here is what I thought he meant. It is held to the tunnel with four 10mm-headed bolts.

Yes, that would be the one. I just pulled the T5 out to have it rebuilt and the boot on the T5's tailshaft shifter has a tear in it.
I was hoping to find a new one. If not, I know where there is a 4 cylinder car with a T5 in it I can get a used boot from.
