Anyone like the stock GT taillights?

I prefer the LX tails on mine. Looks nice and clean. The gradders do look good on some GT's though.

I love the cobra tails, but I also love my gt tails. Ill spend my money else where.


But personally I only think they look good on white.

that lx tail striping job looks goooood

i'm liking that more than any other tail now.

my cheese graters are cracked and falling apart, i was gonna get some cobra's but i don't like the way they look sunken into the car. i prefer the nice round look of the gt's or lx's

I love cheesegraters. They look awesome i think. And i think roland was the one who found an auction on ebay where a peice of crap set went for big bucks. Ithink when mine got painted it kinda gives them a smoked look and i think it looks badass, especially at night.

i like em on mine, i just dont think lx lights work too well on a white gt, but thats just me.

Those aren't SVOs - SVO lights had the stripes.

All 83-86 tail lights were the "stripeless Cobras".

Only cause my car looks like a Cobra is why I keep em, but I'd go LX's if I had gratters.

They look at home on some cars, like black and white, i dont like them on red cars or anything else. I dont care much for the lx tails on a gt either. only ones i might like are a clear or smoked lxtail on a white gt.

i personally love the old 85-86 tails, cobras are ok, i dont like the horizontal stripes on them though.

I think you guys are right about some color it looks good on. I def like the graders on the white gts.

88gt I had that same combo on my first mustang. Strawberry red and grey, nice.

Lastly red is awsome, anyone want to trade a red gt for my navy blue/grey gt lol. I love my combo, but nothing beats red

I like the graters only on red GT's because they stand out less.The more the contrast with the body color the worse they look in my view.Regardless though,I could never get used to a set of LX tail lights on any GT.
