I had a hard time finding oil pump gaskets in stock at the local auto parts store. I need the gaskets for the pump and pickup. Summit only carries the pickup gasket and I'm not about to pay 9 bucks to ship that here
So, I picked up some gasket material (Pinkish paper sheet) and cut them out to the same dimensions as the stock gaskets I took out, those were black but also paper
Just curious whether or not there could be any issues with doing that. I really hate to make a day project out of hunting down a piece of paper if I can just cut my own. At the same time I want to do things right.
