anyone no anything about paint?

i havve an 85 gt that was painted about 5 years ago and i really like the color .. its a porche red... i kind of want to paint the hole car since im painting most of it already this winter but i dont want to change colors i was wondering if i could get the same color paint with an added metalflake look...maybe the same color made someware but with that sparkley metalflake look.l woold this be expensive? can it be done ..thanks

yes it can be done, but youll have to have the car prepped properly before you can go blastnig new layers of paint on...I used to paint jets in the Marines...talk about a freakin project..Your best bet would be to take your car to the body shop of your choice and have him mix something up for you, a sample, and go from there.
