Well, just got off the phone with the Saleen parts department. Apparently they have reverted to the state of the Ark instead of state of the art. I ordered 5 of their 'new' apparel items on 3/6. My credit card was charged on 3/8. The first person I spoke to today said they might ship next week or the following week, no way to tell, then my phone cut out. Called back on a land line and spoke to a manager, I forget his name. After a long winded explanation of their inventory process, he said they could be shipped today. No answer when I asked if they could be shipped today, how come they weren't shipped already. Finally told him to shove it and cancel the order.
Bottom line, at least from the parts department perspective, they are still living in the Tony Johnson days.
They advertise stuff they don't have and they charge you for it even though they have NO
idea when they can ship things. One can only hope they are doing a better job building cars
than they are at selling parts for them.
