Anyone put a micro switch on your clutch pedal? I am trying to wire up a 2 step for my 5 speed GT. I need a switch for the launch rpm limiter. If you put a switch on the clutch pedal, how did you do it? Or did someone get the stock clutch switch to work?

Help please!,

search on here there is a good write up on how to do it,it works off the switch for the launch control. You wire it into the clutch pedal, hit the switch with the clutch pushed in. Let go of the switch floor it rev limiter works release the clitch and go! It dosent activate till you do the process all over again. I beleive you use the relay that even comes with the kit? peace

Thanks for the feedback, I been searching earlier and I cant seem to find anything. My issue with the Clutch switch on my car (86 GT) is that it isn't hot unless the keyswitch is on start (not run). Or thats my understanding of how it works. It seems to me if I put 12V+ to that switch the starter would engage when the clutch is depressed?
