anyone put tweeters in the a-pillar?

I have an 06 GT with the shaker500. I have always put the tweeters at the bottom of the a-pillars so it reflects off the glass and makes for a very large sound stage. Has anyone tried this? I don't know if there is enough depth. Thanks for the info..

There is plenty of depth for tweeters in the 05+ pillars. I own a small business that makes gauge pods for mustangs, and the 05 pillars are the most "roomy" of any model I've seen. The pillars are held only with clips, and snap right off pretty easily. If you want there's a video on this page showing the removal of one:

05Torch, how did your tweeters turn out? Mine came out really nice. I was very happy with the look as well as the sound. Definitely an improvement over putting them in the door. What did you think?

I got them mounted but havent finished the rest of the install. I tryed them for a few minutes and they sound good. look good also.
