In the process of trying to figure-out why my car is pinging, we've done some more troubleshooting, and think replacing the radiator might help. Why? Well, when simply cruising on the freeway w/the AC one, my car will overheat(according to the temp guage).
So, between a new radiator and some Water Wetter we should be able to get the engine temp down almost 20 degrees.
So, now I need to install a new radiator. What do I have in store when I try to install a new? Should I just take it to a mechanic to perform the work? Ideally, I would prefer to do the work myself if the amount of time doesn't exceed a days work.
