Anyone running an Art Carr Valve Body?

Just curious to see if anyone is running the Art Carr Manual/Automatic valve body in your AOD and how you like it?

I run an Art Carr AOD with the manual/auto VB and love it. Some days I just throw it in drive and go but most days I change gears. Check my sig on page 2 for times...

how does it shift. I want neck snapping shifts and chirping in second gear. I had a VB with a transgo and a high pressure boost valve, but decided to go Art Carr instead. I didn't want to have trouble with the other vb in the future because of excess pressure.

It really isn't a neck snapping shift unless you're into the throttle. But you can definately hear and feel it shift during normal driving..

If I can ask, how much did you pay for it? I'm in the market for a new valve body.

the Art Carr is a manual/auto and it was 316. It's one of the better valve bodies out there, but I hear everyone say Lentech is the best. They are closer to 400 for the street dominator, PAPerfomance also has one that runs about 200. If you are on a super tight budget I have a completely rebuilt 89 valve body with a new transgo and high pressure boost valve for a 100 bucks. Here's some links for you to check out.
