I'm trying to decide what exhaust (x-pipe and catback) to install on my 92 stang. This is a combo I'm considering. I want an exhaust that is fairly loud at WOT but quiet in the cab while driving around town. What do you guys think? Thanks

I have a very close combo. I have a Redline x pipe and Magnaflow catback. It definitely has a different sound but it is awesome!! It gets loud at WOT but not bad when cruising. I don't think I would ever change it out.

Click on the link in my sig. You can hear my exhaust in it.

Magnaflows are good, and Dr. Gas has a good rep; however, Pypes muffs sound equally badass at WOT and are very subtle in regular driving, and they have a complete exhaust setup with off-road X and Violator cat-back (with stainless tails) for around $450 (price was ultra-cheap at their WFC9 display). Depends on whether or not you want/need the stainless steel materials for longevity and/or bling factor.

Jeez, I'm starting to sound like a sales rep for Pypes, lately... :)

I tried to listen to some of their clips on their website but they wouldn't load for some reason. But that is a darn good deal for the x pipe and catback.
