it will be a victor jr headed 347, what size pushrods will i be using,

im asking if anyones running this same combo and what size pushrods are they using?

I'm looking at running the same but I have a Vortech to go with it. No I don't know what pushrods to use either.

There are so many other variables -- there's no way of telling if what someone else is running is gonna fit your combo/set up. You need to use an adjustable pushrod checker and select pushrod length for your combo.

Spend the $30.00 now to verify your pushrod lenght instead of taking a chance and messing up more than one valve and possibly pistons.

ok sry but i didnt ask to buy a pushrod checker, i asked what size pushrods someone was running in this kind of setup, if you dont know dont post, i dont need your coaching nore your moral support!

once again, if your running this setup post up what length pushrods your running if your not running this setup dont post, thanks dustin

Wow, you just insulted a guy who knew more about cars when he was 3 than you will EVER know. If his post wasn't helpful (which it was, just not what you were looking for), then don't get an attitude about it. Just move on and see if anybody else has some info.

I was helpfull. I even posted a link to the part required to take out all of the guess work. I'd rather spend $30.00 than $500 rebuilding heads based on information gathered off of someone with a "similar" setup. But you know what they say about leading a horse to water.

the bad thing is u guys just assumed to what i was wanting to know the size, they sell different size pushrod checkers, i didnt know which one to buy, so i wanted a ball park or what the length where i would know what checker to buy, so to all you that smarted off, ask before you make yourself look like a foool, u guys asume way to much, just awnser the question i ask and go on, thanks dustin

We might have known that's what you were asking if............. you had asked that. You asked, "what size pushrods will i be using", not 'what size check do I need?', or 'what is the ballpark length of the pushrods?'. Clarity is often helpful!

The sad thing is Justin, you're the only one that looks like a fool in this thread. When I made my first post, all you had to do was reply -- 'I'm trying to get a rough idea of the correct length checker to buy'. You'd have had folks bumping it back up to the top for you until you got the info you were looking for. Instead, with your childish reply, you brought the responses from others on yourself.

I suspect that you didn't decide to actually buy a pushrod checker until you got 'schooled' in the thread. Why else would you have posted this in response to me "...i didnt ask to buy a pushrod checker..."

And I'm laughing out loud again that you're suggesting that I grow up.....so go ahead and keep posting replies. You just dig yourself a deeper hole each time you do and we all get a entertained.

I'm still learning, like so many of us, about Ford EFI so a wild guess is that the stock push rod is 6.125" in length. So when you look for a checker make sure that it goes from the stock legth and above it. Not too hard.... TFS-9000 goes from 6.125" to 7.5" and sells on Summit for $11.95
