So I saw this ad on TV for the Scunci steamer. Seems to me it would work pretty damn good on an engine, does anyone use one of these and is it worth buying?

I can't picture a steam cleaning removing tough grease and oil. Maybe it would work if your engine was already pretty clean?

But maybe I am picturing a different steam cleaner, how's this Scunci system work?

I have used a steam cleaner on my engine a few times, and even the entire underside of the car. Works really well with some simple green. I usually do it once a year because I don't drive my car too much. It does work really well though.

I use oven cleaner on the metal parts. It works really good.

I prefer the Easy Off heavy Duty.

Thanks, funny thing is, that is the dirty before pic. If I drove it more it might get a little dirty. I wish I had time to drive it.........

Thanks though.......

I use a pressure washer at work, that has a diesel burner attached to it. That water gets extremely hot.

It works great with some degreaser. My engine bay looked sweet after I did it.

That thing would work great!
