It's coincidental that Rick Anderson gained somewhat similar numbers on his GT 00 project. Check out February's 2004 issue of 5.0, it should already be out, if not soon. No doubt, the best issue yet for 99+ GT owners.
the stock catback is 2.25'' in diameter. It is not mandrel bent unlike all the 2.5'' catbacks which never go below 2.5''. the stock catback goes to 1.75'' i've heard when looping around the rear axel. So, there are a few horses to be gained from changing catbacks, but not a whole lot in most cases based on what i've read.crimson96 said:I don't understand how a 2.5" cat back is any better than stock with swapped mufflers?
