Anyone use ES12a or other hydrocarbon based refrigerants?

I have all the pieces to put the A/C back together and plan on using ES12a. The company claims that it is slightly colder than R12. Also I will need to add oil to the compressor. Can I do this w/ a can that fills like the refrigerant? I have been told that most refrigerants already have the oil in them. Any info on this?
Thanks

i have never heard of this refrigerant, do you have a link to the companies website? also i would check the EPA list of approved refrigerants and see if it is on the list. as for the oil, it would likely use the same oil as R134a does.

edit: ok i looked up this refrigerant and found out that it is sold as freeze12. according to the website it is approved by the EPA, but you need to use the R134a charge ports, and you will need to use the same oil as R134a. thus you will have to flush your current system, change the receiver/dryer, and then you can install the new refrigerant. understand that you dont need as much freeze12 as you would the others, so be careful not to overcharge the system.

Thanks I have done research as well prior to posting on this forum. I was wondering how this stuff actually performed. I checked the oil level in my compressor (Ford label attached) and it seems it is below spec. I've tried to find Suniso 5 and Capella E online and haven't found much to my use. I was wondering if the oil that comes in the cans that you hook up to the recharge would work?
