I wanted something that would really hold me snugly, and looked nice. I was looking through ebay and found these for $300 shipped. I like how they have the red/black seats that would match my ext/int perfectly.

Basically these are the same chinese made seats that have been making the rounds. I have a set I paid about $200 shipped [in gray] that I don't think I will put in the 'vert. Initially when they came in, others were very positive. And, for the price, they are pretty good.

My 'vert will be something in the 75-100k range when finished, and they just are a bit on the 'cheap feel' side of things, so after some reflection, I will move 'up market.' I may throw them in the 2+2, and that is not a bad use at all.

$300 is more than these seats usually go for, as near as I can tell. Not from this specific vendor, but in general, FWIW.

The only thing I've heard about (not those specifically) that kinda seat is that the material was VERY thin. My buddy bought some for his car and said he could basically see through the material. Other than that I dont know. Go for em, its only money:nice:

I would not put those seats in my car. Besides the obvious quality concerns...I do not like the head rest sticking up above the top of the door on early cars...looks funny to me. And the colors might match your car but what about the style? If it were me I would cough up/save up the extra dough for some Scat Pro-Car seats www.procarbyscat.com like these but with the head rest removed. These are a good match style wise to early cars plus if you are real finicky someone now sells matching rear sear upholstery. An even sweeter look was the Scat Elites that reenmachine had recovered to look like original vintage seats.
