I thought the AFM powerpipes were supposed to be very good quality? Makes me reconsider buying one.

lol, I had a hard time getting mine on there too. You just gotta work with it. You have to put the pipe in the fender first, then attach the MAF once it's in the fender. It's a major PITA, but once it's on, it works pretty good. Just remember to attach the MAF to something somehow, I never was able to mount my MAF anywhere, so eventually it fell off the end of the powerpipe. It's even more of a PITA to reattach it on the side of the road with no tools. So do it right the first time, lol. No you don't have to take off the fender.

I dont recall having that much of a problem with mine. Luckily for me u used to have a MAC CAI so i used the MAC fender hole support to keep mine stable since they dont provide a way to secure it from bouncing around in the fender hole. Then once you put it in the hole, bring the MAF up from under the car and secure it that way. I took out a couple of the screws that hold on the inner fender lining so i could move it out of the way a little.

They're crap, read my review about it. I've never been able to adjust mine so it doesn't hit the alternator or the oil fill cap. I have to remove the whole pipe to add oil to my car. I also had to fab something up for keep it from bouncing around in the fenderwell. This thing is the biggest rip off in the aftermarket industry. AFM told me it really isn't meant for street cars.

glad that worked for you dude I tried that and my 80mm maf went nuts cause it got hot i guess and the things started losing major power on top end. Went from a 9.1 to a 10.1 by that lil trick which sucked. I hve to get a bigger TB before i can put my power pipe on cause the hose inlets are too big for the stock TB. Then ill be in business. Nice to see you like yours chris there is another "I TOLD YOU SO".

lol. I'm gonna try and get my Pro-M to fit on the end of my C&L inlet tube. I love the looks of the C&L, it just performs like chit. Then I'm gonna sell my Powerpipe if it works. BTW, where have you been? I haven't talked to you in a WHILE!
