Anyone using b&m trick shift?

Dont use it. just use the merc/dex V fluid. Just becuase it's expensive dosent mean it's the best. The V fluid is a syn blen fluid and I would get the aamco V from az at a good price and it's made by mobile/exxon.

It's dyed blue and I think has some extra kind of friction modifer or something like that added. A few years ago I called a bunch of the performance tranny rebuilders and they didnt like the stuff becuase it can cause problems. They said stick with the V fluid.

You can mix it with the reg merc/dexIII. You need to get a 96+ filter that has the lower feed hole on it for the deep pan Make sure you get the rubber orange seal out of the filter bore if it dosent come off when you yank the old filter. Your going to loose allmost all of your fluid. I would get 13qt. The easy way to drain your tranny pan is to unhook the lower tranny line off of the rad and get a piece of hose to slip on the end of the line. start your car and let it idle till all of the fluid pumps out. Then pop the plug under the converter and crank the car till you see the drain plug, drain it. Then drop the pan and thats it. Dont forget to pour 1/2-1q of tranny fluid in the converter before you install it. You might not need all 13q so dont just pour it all in. add 6-8 then start the car and check the level.
