anyone using dog ring straight cut gears in a gforce trans for street/strip use?

Seen an article on mm&ff about the differences between the straight cut and helical gears, main difference what I noticed they said was straight cut gears are stronger but are a little on the noisy side. Having the dog ring version said it will have unlimited shift rpm, quicker shifts, and much fewer missed gears. Any input or knowledge would be appreciated

I have mine waiting to go in, but not in a drag setup.

Mostly road race, maybe some street time if I'm clearing out the bugs or going to knotts.

Look awesome, but no way would I drive that noisy sucker on the street. I looked into them, but when I saw this I passed.

that sounds crazy loud. I just found this fox running this trans and the noise doesnt seem too bad since the motor and exhaust is already loud. 306 Mustang, Anderson N-91 cam 7200 rpm - YouTube
