Anyone want to trade thier 5 speed mustang for an auto?

Just curious if anyone would...I have an auto and its great for everyday driving..shifts hard with the tuner and its consistent of course but cant help wishing I had a 5 speed.

Yeah, why trade when u can swap...That is a nice, clean lookin SN95. I love that color btw. But i will never own another auto stang.

What I want to do, hopefully this winter, is get a manual valve body, b&m hammer shifter, and transmission cooler. Manual control, no clutch to mess with, oh and it can shifter faster than 99% of people.

werd, im looking into getting the hammer shifter too - but the install doesn't look fun. I'm tired of working around the tranny - lol.

I wanted that hammer shifter when I had my 96GT auto, but instead I sold the car & bought a 97 Cobra....What do u know, I ended up with a 5 speed, 32 valves, and 100 more horses

auto mustangs arent fun as a stick. You know how fun it is to have the option to make your exhaust loud by shifting 1st late or just riding out 1st gear and letting the revs drop and exhaust pop and burble... or downshifting into 2nd from 3rd/4th than gunning it???

I've thought about what it'd be like to have a tuned/4.10'd automatic, but there's something about a 3-pedal mustang that just seems right see: bullitt, eleanor. every time i watch either of those movies i have an urge to go outside and rip through the gears..can't do that with an auto
