Well its been a long and expensive road, but I am almost complete with my engine build. I have the short block done and heads are on.
(BTW its a 91 302 with new/stock hydr lifters)
So far I have a stock bottom end/crank/pistons with no deck milling, just better hardware and girdle installed, and a 1106-2 fel-pro gasket
topping it off with a AFR 165cc heads and a FRPP E303 cam and 1.6:1 comp magnum roller rockers
I did my pushrod length check and I got a pushrod length of 6.41 inches.
My question: 1. I wanted to just make sure i was in the right ballpark as far as the measurements go.
2. I only found pushrods that are 6.4 inches, my measurement was 6.410.
Im guessing the 1 hundreths of an inch really wouldnt matter. what do you think ?
3. with this set up what did you get as far as pushrod length?
