Anyone with an FTI cam....

Ed will just tell you how it is based on years of expierence....it's up to you to decide what you think?

I told Ed my combo and he asked me if I wanted to be a first round loser or go rounds..... Needless to say I took his advice sold all my BRAND NEW parts and bought some stuff from him. Absolutly no regrets, I know the car will run the number and make the power to go rounds.

Price is right to me..... I know the cam is $325 and the billet timing sets are close to $100, lifters are atleast $120 then add the gaskets in

Ed never really tried to sell me any of his stuff, his other customers cars did the selling. He told me up front that he was not the cheapest. My 302 had afr165's,rpm,and his cam. I bought alot of the other stuff from him too like gaskets, timing set,pushrods,rockers,ect....... I was very happy with his stuff, car made 303rwhp untuned, got 24-26mpg on the highway and 17-20 around town plus idled at 700rpms. You wont be dissapointed.

ok im goign to go with afr heads and rpm intake. what are the specs of the cam that he recommends????

He doesn't give you the specs over the phone, or in an email. It all comes in w/ the cam. You get a card w/ all the info, characteristics of the cam, where to degree it.....

I am expecting my cam from Ed anytime now...and its killing me! I cant wait to fire this thing up. I do have one complaint though, well not really a complaint but maybe a recommendation for Ed. Start accepting other forms of Payment. I think that between the questions e-mails back and forth, priority mail with signature verification and what not I lost a good week and a half of time. If I can make a suggestion to others it would be that Ed's prices on other items is not far out of line and simply save your money and purchase your combo from him all at once! Well Im thru suggesting now, Im sure this will all be an afterthought when I stab the throttle at the line!!!

It's unlikely you'll get any BS from Ed. He's pretty much a "straight shooter" and knows what parts work and what doesn't.

I've got a road race combo. Runs at high RPM for a pretty long time. No problems.

Thats just what I loved about dealing with Ed. It's nice once in while when dealing with someone that they tell you what they think, not what they think you want to hear in order to make a sale. I didnt mind that Ed was a little more than other places, thats all it was too, a little more.
