the thing i dont like about that waterpump and the moroso one is the whole backing plate design, I am more fond of the external motor. You had any problems with leaks?

I have used the Aerospace units, they flow more then a CSI and pull less amps....

However if you need to use the water pump as a pulley like Joe pictured above Meziere is the only way to go!

I do not need a unit with a idler pulley on it. Whats the best? This will be on a weekend/ice day cruiser. But during the summer I want to drive it to work pretty often.

i have a mezier 300 series. you can still retain A/C and P/S as well. you just have to grind the A/C bracket a little so it clears the top of the pump.

i'd say it drives fine. if it is slipping at all, i can't hear it. you know that high pitched squeeling, its not there.

also forgot to say that other than being able to run A/C and PS, it has provisions for the t-stat bypass and heater line. another reason why i chose this style.

yeah thats a nice unit, anyone running one with the motor not attached to the timing chain cover like a lot of the csi units? Where it has a backing plate and bolts to each port with the removable center section.

thanks for the replies though

Yes that is how my Aerospace unit is along with the CSI, no issues at all. Actually my Aerospace unit is now being mounted to my frame rail for a remote mount set-up, my lower cog pulley is too large so I do not have enough clearance.

rick, that aerospace unit looks awesome. It's cheaper than csi and includes the hose adapter fitting. Any issues at all with it? I had that moroso one and I had constant problems with leaks due to the motor being connected with the whole unit directly. What a pain in the ass!! It didnt have any bolts on the bottom of the waterpump to squeeze it down so it always leaked out the bottom. Ill prob be going with aerospace!

thanks rick
